Sherri Kruse
Patient / Insurance Specialist
I have dedicated the past 19 years to this office and plan to continue until my retirement in the next few years. I enjoy helping people and love the patient care industry. Outside of work, I’m a proud mother of two adult sons and a joyful grandmother of a 2-year-old granddaughter. I find balance through my love for working out, enjoying time with friends and beach vacations. Grateful for the diverse experiences in both my career and personal life, life’s journey is one I embrace with enthusiasm.
Melissa Nielsen
Lead Surgical Assistant
My career in General Dentistry began over twenty years ago; I transitioned to oral surgery two years ago and have enjoyed perfecting my craft. I am DAANCE certified and my heart is in serving others and connecting with our clients. I also enjoy serving those in need. One of my most significant dental accomplishments is the completion of two dental missions, and I look forward to many others in the future.
I received my associate degree at North Central Texas College and am pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services. I am a proud parent to a teenage son who enjoys being in band and cheer and a daughter who graduated college and is now pursuing her career in hospitality.
When I’m not at work, I have several hobbies I love to do, such as camping, hiking, traveling, and volunteering. But more importantly, I love being around my family and friends.

Surgical Assistant
I am multi-trained and often contribute to front office duties. Fluent in English and Spanish, I pride myself on being well-organized and a team player, providing assistance to both doctors. Since 2010, I’ve navigated various realms of the dental field—from General Dentistry to Pediatric Dentistry and now specializing in Oral Surgery. I am Nitrous Oxide Certified and hold hospital credentials for assisting in surgical cases.
I keep up with continuous education, and I’m currently pursuing my DAANCE Certification. On a personal note, I am happily married with two children. Outside of work, my interests include immersing myself in the world of movies, quality time with family, reading books, attending concerts, and finding fulfillment in volunteering at the women’s shelter.

I am an Insurance Coordinator and support the practice by verifying patient benefits and helping ensure a smooth, stress-free insurance process. I have been in the dental field for over three decades. After years of assisting chairside, I now handle insurance coordination, create and edit office documents, and help with any small issues that come up to keep the office running smoothly.
Outside of work, I enjoy family time and personal hobbies. What inspires me most is making a difference in our patients’ experience and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
Melissa Myers
Patient Coordinator
I work at the front desk and am often the first point of contact for patients. I am responsible for welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, handling paperwork, and answering phones. I have a diverse professional background spanning both real estate and healthcare, which supports a people-focused approach to my role.
Outside of work, I am a devoted wife of over 20 years and a proud mom of two amazing teenagers who are the joy of my life, and spending time with my family is where my heart is happiest. What inspires me most is working directly with patients and helping make their experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I am motivated by creating a welcoming first impression, offering reassurance when patients may feel anxious, and knowing that my care and attention can make a real difference in their visit. Being part of a team that helps people feel supported and well taken care of is what truly drives me.

Surgical Assistant
I take care of all the consent forms and support the clinical team by ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout the days. I assist in a wide range of surgical procedures by preparing surgical rooms, instruments, materials, room turnover, and inventory awareness. I assist with patient intake, documentation, radiographs, and post operative instructions to ensure the patients and families feel informed and supported. I have been in the industry for going on 6 years.
My key areas of expertise include clear, professional communication with patients. Documentation, reporting, and record accuracy. Time management and prioritization. Problem solving in high pressure or sensitive situations. Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accountability in my work.
My current goals that I am working towards would be to contribute to efficient surgical workflows that reduce chair time all while maintaining excellence. Expanding my knowledge in oral surgery procedures, instruments, and technology. Communicating clearly and professionally in clinical environments. Lastly to serve as a reliable, oriented team member who supports the practice success.
On a personal level, I bring empathy, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility to my work. Being a parent to 4 kids has shaped how I approach patient care, especially when working with patients and family members who are anxious. By reinforcing the importance of clear communication, reassurance, and trust. I value stability, accountability, and teamwork, as well as taking pride in being someone that others can rely on in high pressure situations. These experiences have helped me develop a calm, compassionate approach which aligns to patient values.
