Meet the Team

Sherri Bell

Patient / Insurance Specialist

I have dedicated the past 19 years to this office and plan to continue until my retirement in the next few years. I enjoy helping people and love the patient care industry. Outside of work, I’m a proud mother of two adult sons and a joyful grandmother of a 2-year-old granddaughter. I find balance through my love for working out, enjoying time with friends and beach vacations. Grateful for the diverse experiences in both my career and personal life,  life’s journey is one I embrace with enthusiasm.

Melissa Nielsen

Lead Surgical Assistant

My career in General Dentistry began over twenty years ago; I transitioned to oral surgery two years ago and have enjoyed perfecting my craft. My heart is in serving others and connecting with our clients. I also enjoy serving those in need. One of my most significant dental accomplishments is the completion of two dental missions, and I look forward to many others in the future.

I received my associate degree at North Central Texas College and am pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services. I am a proud parent to a teenage son who enjoys being in band and cheer and a daughter who graduated college and is now pursuing her career in hospitality.

When I’m not at work, I have several hobbies I love to do, such as camping, hiking, traveling, and volunteering. But more importantly, I love being around my family and friends.

Kris Olivarez

Operations Manager

With 22 years of experience in dentistry spanning general, ortho and oral surgery, I enjoy people and have a passion for patient experience. In my role as operations manager, I implement and ensure adherence to plans, policies, and procedures. Collaborating with doctors, I prioritize high-quality hospitality, effective marketing, and precise insurance billing to support our providers.

My commitment to continuous growth drives our practice’s efficacy, ensuring patient comfort and maintaining a team well-versed in the latest oral surgery knowledge. As a mother of two adult children, a son, and a daughter, my love for the outdoors—fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, and road trips—is paralleled only by my enjoyment of quality time with family and friends.

Crystal Rivera, RDA

Surgical Assistant

I am multi-trained and often contribute to front office duties. Fluent in English and Spanish, I pride myself on being well-organized and a team player, providing assistance to both doctors. Since 2010, I’ve navigated various realms of the dental field—from General Dentistry to Pediatric Dentistry and now specializing in Oral Surgery. I am Nitrous Oxide Certified and hold hospital credentials for assisting in surgical cases.

I keep up with continuous education, and I’m currently pursuing my DAANCE Certification. On a personal note, I am happily married with two children. Outside of work, my interests include immersing myself in the world of movies, quality time with family, reading books, attending concerts, and finding fulfillment in volunteering at the women’s shelter.
